Ingredients
Channa dal | 1 cup |
Onion | 2 |
Green chillies | 6 |
Coconut | ½ cup |
Ginger | 1 inch |
Garlic | 4 |
Tomato | 2 |
Chilli powder | 2 tsp |
Turmeric powder | ¼ tsp |
Fennel seeds and spices | ½ tsp |
Oil, salt, curry leaves |
Method
- Soak dal for 2 hours and grind it coarsely.
- Grind coconut, ginger, and garlic to a coarse paste.
- Add onion, green chilli, curry leaves into dal and mix well. And make small balls.
- Heat oil in a pan, deep fry the balls and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add spices, onion, and tomato, curry leaves one by one and fry well.
- Add ground masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
- Boil till it becomes kurma. Now add fried balls and mix well.
