VADA CURRY

Ingredients


Channa dal
1 cup
Onion
2
Green chillies

Coconut
½ cup
Ginger
1 inch
Garlic

Tomato

Chilli powder
2 tsp
Turmeric powder
¼ tsp
Fennel seeds and spices
½ tsp
Oil, salt, curry leaves



Method


  1. Soak dal for 2 hours and grind it coarsely.
  2. Grind coconut, ginger, and garlic to a coarse paste.
  3. Add onion, green chilli, curry leaves into dal and mix well. And make small balls.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, deep fry the balls and keep aside.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, add spices, onion, and tomato, curry leaves one by one and fry well.
  6. Add ground masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  7. Boil till it becomes kurma. Now add fried balls and mix well.
