Coconut | ¼ |
Green chillies | 10 |
Cumin | ½ tsp |
Shallots | 5 |
Garlic | 3 pods |
Tamarind or curd | To taste |
Oil | 3 tsp |
Curry leaves | |
Mustard | ½ tsp |
Salt | To taste |
Method
- Grind coconut, green chillies, cumin, onion and garlic coarsely.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, and curry leaves and vegetables.
- Cover it and cook it in a medium heat. Stir periodically.
- If it sticks in the bottom add little bit water.
- Add tamarind pulp.
- Now add ground masala and salt. Mix it well.
