½ cup kollu (horse gram)
2 potatoes
1 tsp. chilli powder
½ tsp. cumin powder
¼ cup rice flour
½ cup bread crumbs
Cilantro
Salt to taste
Oil – for deep frying
Method
Ø Pressure cook kollu with 2-3 cups of water. Drain the water. I used this water to prepare KOLLU RASAM.
Ø Grind kollu and make powder. Cook potatoes and mash them.
Ø In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes with kollu powder, rice flour, chilli powder, cumin powder, cilantro and salt. Do not add water. Make any cutlet shape.
Ø Toss the cutlet into bread crumbs. Deep fry them.
Note
We can add any cooked vegetables along with potato.
