MultiVegetable Usili

Cut all the vegetables into small pieces, like peas size.


Ingredients

½  cup beans
½ cup carrot
½ cup potatoes
½ cup peas
1 cup Channa dal
6 red chillies
¼ tsp asafoetida
4 garlic cloves
Curry leaves, cilantro, oil, mustard, urad dal and salt

Method

Ø  Steam cook the vegetables. Or cook the vegetables and strain.
Ø  Grind channa dal, garlic, red chillies and salt into a coarse paste.
Ø  Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, urad dal and curry leaves. Now add the ground mixture and sauté gently till the raw smell goes away.
Ø  Add the cooked vegetables and mix them gently. Add salt if required.
Ø   Garnish with cilantro.
