Semia (Vermicelli) Payasam


Ingredients

1 cup semia
1 cup sugar
6 cups milk
2 tbsp ghee
10-15 cashes
2 tbsp raisin
4 cardamoms

Method

Ø  Heat 1 tbsp. of ghee in a vessel, fry semia till golden.  Do not get burnt.
Ø  Add milk, let semia cook in the milk.
Ø  Once semia is getting cooked add sugar and mix well on low heat. Mix well till done. Switch off and add cardamom powder.
Ø  Heat the remaining ghee, add cashews and raisin. Pour this into the payasam.
