Multi Vegetable Gravy

Cut all the vegetables including onion and tomato into small pieces, like peas size.


Ingredients

½  cup beans
½ cup carrot
½ cup potatoes
½ cup peas
2 onion
2 tomato
½ tsp ginger/garlic paste
1 – 1 ½  tsp chilli powder
½ tsp coriander powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp curry masala powder
¼ cup bread crumbs
½ cup coconut
½ tsp poppy seeds
5 nos. cashew nut
Curry leaves, cilantro, oil, mustard, urad dal and salt

Method

Ø  Grind coconut, poppy seeds and cashew nut coarsely.
Ø  Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, then urad dal and curry leaves.  Add onions and sauté till translucent.
Ø  Add ginger/garlic paste and fry well. Now add tomatoes and chilli powder, coriander powder, curry masala powder and turmeric powder. Mix well till done.
Ø  Add all vegetables, ground paste, little bit water and salt. Cover and cook in medium heat.
Ø  Once the vegetables are getting cooked, add bread crumbs and mix gently.  Mix it for couple of minutes. Do not mash the vegetables.  Garnish with cilantro.
