SIMPLE SHRIMP FRY

Ingredients

Shrimp
 1lb (used frozen)
Shallots/small onions
 1/2 cup (sliced thin)
Red chilli powder
 2 tsp
Turmeric powder
 1/2tsp
Pepper powder
 1/2tsp
Curry leaves
 few
Coconut oil/veg.oil
 2tbsp
G/g paste
½ tsp
Salt
To taste

Method


  1. Thaw the frozen shrimp and keep it aside.
  2. In pan heat oil, fry sliced onion till they are dark golden brown. (Almost crispy).
  3. Add ginger/garlic paste and fry for a minute.
  4. Add curry leaves and chilli powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder and fry till raw smell goes away.
  5. Now add shrimp and salt.
  6. Sauté them in high heat for first few minutes and then reduce the heat and cook until everything comes together
