POONDU KUZHAMBU

Ingredients


Garlic
4
Tamarind
Lemon size
Curry leaves

Jaggery
1 tsp
Pepper
1 tsp
Cumin
1 tsp
Chilli powder
2 tsp
Turmeric powder
¼ tsp
Salt
To taste
Oil
2 tbsp


Method


  1. Heat oil in a pan, add pepper – splutter it.
  2. Add garlic pods fry till pale brown.
  3. Grind this and make a paste.
  4. Mix tamarind pulp, ground mixture, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt in a bowl.
  5. Heat ¼ cup oil in a pan, fry cumin and curry leaves. Then add the above mixture in a pan. Covet it and boil well.
  6. Once it becomes thick add jaggery and mix well.
