Ingredients
Garlic | 4 |
Tamarind | Lemon size |
Curry leaves | |
Jaggery | 1 tsp |
Pepper | 1 tsp |
Cumin | 1 tsp |
Chilli powder | 2 tsp |
Turmeric powder | ¼ tsp |
Salt | To taste |
Oil | 2 tbsp |
Method
- Heat oil in a pan, add pepper – splutter it.
- Add garlic pods fry till pale brown.
- Grind this and make a paste.
- Mix tamarind pulp, ground mixture, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt in a bowl.
- Heat ¼ cup oil in a pan, fry cumin and curry leaves. Then add the above mixture in a pan. Covet it and boil well.
- Once it becomes thick add jaggery and mix well.
