Ingredients
Tamarind | 2 lemon size |
Fenugreek | ½ tsp |
Pepper | ½ tsp |
Red chillies | 9 |
Peanuts or Channa dal | ¾ cup |
Asafetida | Pinch |
Mustard seeds | ½ tsp |
Urad dal | 1 tsp |
Oil | ¼ cup |
Jaggery (optional) | Little bit |
Method
- Fry fenugreek and pepper and powder it.
- Heat oil in a pan, add asafetida, mustard, urad dal,, peanuts, red chillies fry well.
- Add thick tamarind pulp and boil it.
- Add the powder, salt and jaggery.
- Make it thick
