Ingredients
Cabbage | ¼ cup |
Carrots | ¼ cup |
Capsicum | ¼ cup |
Pepper powder | 2 tsp |
Ginger (minced) | 1 tsp |
Garlic (minced) | 1 tsp |
Soy sauce | 2 tsp |
Green onion | ¼ cup |
Cooked rice | 2 cup |
Salt, oil, cilantro |
Method
1. The whole mixing has to be done on high flame, so get all the ingredients ready before starting.
2. Rice needs to be cold, warm or hot rice would spoil the dish. Day old basmati rice works well.
3. Get the wok or Kadai ready on high flame, heat oil, add all the veggies (except spring onions). Stir fry them with a pinch of salt, later add the cooked rice to it, sprinkle salt, freshly ground pepper and light soy sauce (optional).
4. Mix well and keep stir-frying for couple of minutes. Switch off garnish with the spring onions and serve.
