Munthiri Kothu

Ingredients

           
Moong dal
½ kg
Karuppatti
½ kg
Fried coconut
2 ½ cup
Raw rice flour

Turmeric powder
¼ tsp


Method


1.      Dry roast moong dal very well. Powder it. Add 2 cups of water to the karuppatti and make syrup till it is dissolved. Let it cool.
2.      Mix moong dal powder, coconut and syrup. Make small balls and let it dry for a day.
3.      Make batter with rice flour and turmeric powder.
4.      Dip the balls in the batter and deep-fry them.
