TOMATO KUZHAMBU

Ingredients


Tomatoes
3
Onion
1
Coconut
2 pieces
Chilli powder
1 ½ tsp
Dhania powder
1 tsp
Fennel seeds (fried)
½ tsp
Turmeric powder
¼ tsp
Salt
To taste
Oil
2 tsp
Curry leaves

Mustard
½ tsp



Method


  1. Grind coconut, chilli powder, dhania powder, fried fennel seeds and turmeric powder.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard and curry leaves.
  3. Add onion and fry well.
  4. Add tomatoes and fry slightly.
  5. Then add ground masala and required amount of water and salt.
  6. Boil well.
