MURUKKU

Ingredients


Rice flour
1 cup
Urad flour
¼ cup
Besan flour
¼ cup
Butter
2 tbsp
Chilli powder
½ tsp
Cumin
1 tsp
Sesame seeds
1 tsp
Salt, Water, Oil



Method


  1. Sift rice flour, gram flour, urad dal flour, and red chilli powder and mix sesame seeds, cumin seeds and salt.
  2. Cut in the butter and mix to form a crumbly texture. Then slowly add water and knead well to form a soft ball.
  3. Use a Murukku press with star nozzle, squeeze in a small portion of the dough on a plate. Deep fry them
